Simone Biles Shows Off Never-Before-Seen Gymnastics Move on Instagram—and We’re Giving Her a Perfect Score

Quarantining (and the recent postponement of the 2020 Olympics) isn’t stopping Simone Biles from training and showing off her new gymnastics moves. In fact, the Olympic gold medalist just shared a never-before-seen move on social media and we’re giving her 10s across the board.

Don’t believe us? Check out the video for yourself:

She captioned the post, “triple-double,” with a silly face emoji. According to the Olympic Channel, the 25-time world medalist performed a “triple-twisting double back off the balance beam” and, of course, nailed it. Oh, and per Cosmo, the move has never been done before.

While social distancing, Biles has been keeping herself busy with training, fun TikToks and a handstand challenge that wasn’t really a challenge at all for the 22-year-old gymnast. (Seriously, you try taking off your sweatpants while doing a handstand.)

While we have the video on a constant loop, don’t expect Biles to showcase the dismount in her routine next year. The sport's international governing body declared the move too dangerous to perform. However, that hasn’t stopped the gymnast from taking a risk and showing it off for fans.

This isn’t the first time Biles made jaws drop and reminded us why she's one of the most decorated female of all time. At the U.S. Gymnastics Championship in Kansas City, Missouri, the all-around world champion made history as she landed a triple-twisting double somersault (which is a very difficult move to master).

Keep killing it, Simone!
