Sarah Jessica Parker Confirms ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Is Coming *Really* Soon

Come little children, because the Sanderson sisters are officially reuniting for Hocus Pocus 2.

Sarah Jessica Parker (who played Sarah Sanderson) just released a brand-new photo confirming that Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere on Disney+ next fall.

SJP shared a simple teaser pic on Instagram, featuring the sequel’s title set against a black background. The actress even tagged her co-stars—Bette Midler (Winifred) and Kathy Najimy (Mary)—who will return as the other two Sanderson sisters.

Parker captioned the post, “Yep. I’m ready. To run. Amok, amok, amok, amok. [candle emoji] #HocusPocus2 arrives Fall 2022 on @disneyplus Sisters??? X, SJ.”

We’re not totally surprised by the news, since SJP previously revealed that all three actresses were on board to reprise their roles. “I think that it is something Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and I are all very hospitable to the idea,” Parker said during an interview on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy. “I think for a long time, people were talking about it as if people were moving forward with it in a real way, but we were unaware of it.”

Parker continued, “We’ve agreed publicly to the right people, yes, that would be a very, very fun idea, so we’ll see what the future holds.”

Hocus Pocus originally premiered back in 1993. The story follows a group of cursed witches who are resurrected after 300 years by a young virgin. The sisters are horrified to learn that Halloween has become a sugar-fueled holiday, so they make it their mission to reverse the curse that banned them in the first place.

Bubble, bubble, we’re in trouble.
