Sarah Ferguson is using this time in quarantine not to lay on the couch and binge Netflix but to spruce up her resume and dive into the professional networking game.
The Duchess of York just announced on Instagram that she's joined LinkedIn.
Her profile photo is the ideal mix of professional (chic black dress) and glam (perfectly blown-out hair and hot pink nails). Her current job is listed as "Spokesperson, Author, Producer and Humanitarian," and her bio is somehow even more impressive.
"The Duchess of York is a global humanitarian, businesswoman, best selling children’s book author, producer and wellness advocate," it begins, before explaining her decades of charity work with Children in Crisis, which she founded in 1993. "The charity has educated over 1.4 million children, trained over 18,000 teachers, built 57 schools and supports hundreds of schools on a yearly basis," per the profile.
Regarding the author part, Fergie has published more 55 books, including two autobiographies and lots of children's stories, some of which you can now hear on her YouTube channel. Last month, the 60-year-old royal launched “Storytime With Fergie and Friends” on her YouTube channel. In an introduction video, she explained that every day during the U.K. coronavirus lockdown, she’ll be reading a traditional children’s book for “all of the children out there who just need a little bit of magic.” A new video will go live at 4 p.m. every weekday in the UK (that’s 11 a.m. EST), with a longer story time every Saturday.
Impressive, no? (Hey Fergie, can you accept our invitation to connect?)
