Salma Hayek and Fran Drescher Were Trapped in the Bathroom Thanks to a Major Wardrobe Malfunction

Just moments before Salma Hayek was due to hit the stage at the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, she found herself stuck in the bathroom with none other than Fran Drescher. Allow us to explain.

Earlier this week, the House of Gucci star revealed that she had a wardrobe malfunction with Drescher during a quick trip to the restroom—and just minutes before she had to present the award for Best Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series. The actress even shared footage of the incident on her Instagram page, where fans can see how her glove got stuck to Drescher's dress.

Hayek captioned the post, "My glove got stuck on the great @officialfrandrescher's dress, so I got stuck in the bathroom right before I had to present the award to @michaelkeatondouglas, who was also stuck in the bathroom." (As it turns out, Keaton nearly missed his opportunity to accept the award because he was also stuck in the restroom...more on this later.)

In the footage, a third party helps the duo by carefully separating the glove. Meanwhile, Drescher says, "I can't even believe it, are you videotaping this?" Hayek then replies, "Oh my God, we're stuck! You'll have to present with me."

Fortunately, both women took it in stride and used the opportunity to catch up. Drescher continued, "I think I wrote you a letter, we must have sent it to your reps because I want to pull you into my green council. I said to you how magnificent you were in Gucci and how fearless you were and, ironically, how much I love that we always randomly run into each other."

Luckily for Hayek, the issue was resolved in time for her to present the award (sans Drescher). But after announcing Michael Keaton as the winner for his role in the Hulu series, Dopesick, the actor was nowhere in sight. After a few moments, Hayek said, "Are you kidding me? I have stage fright. Come on Michael! Come on Michael!"

Finally, Keaton was spotted rushing towards the stage to receive his award. And in his speech, he said, "Sorry! Quick trip to the men's room. It was packed, by the way. This is so nice, thank you very much. Really, I'm truly grateful."

Looks like Hayek and Drescher weren't the only ones who were caught in a sticky situation that night. But most importantly, they all handled it like total pros.
