It’s almost been one year since Riverdale brought us Carrie: The Musical. And now, the popular CW series is tackling another well-known production.

Executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa just revealed that season three will have an episode dedicated solely to Heathers: The Musical. The special will feature nine different songs, and yes, everyone is expected to sing.

Aguirre-Sacasa announced the news on Twitter by sharing a cast letter written by Kevin (Corey Cott), who is directing the production.

To no surprise, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch), Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) will play Heather Chandler, Heather McNamara and Heather Duke, respectively.

Guess we have an excuse to break out our scrunchies after all. Riverdale’s musical episode will air on Wednesday, March 20, on the CW.
