Queen Elizabeth just participated in her weekly audience with the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. And while we were immediately distracted by the fact that this was the pair’s first in-person get-together in over a year, we almost missed one major detail.
On Wednesday, the 95-year-old monarch met with Johnson at Buckingham Palace in London for the weekly event. (If you didn’t know, audiences are one-on-one meetings with the queen, and they’re an important part of her daily work.) For the occasion, the royal looked chic in a periwinkle dress and her pearl necklace.
However, while we were scrolling through photos from the meeting, we couldn’t help but notice the slew of family photographs in the background. Unfortunately, the images are kind of hard to see, but People took the liberty of zooming in for us and pointed out that one of the shots is of her grandson, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle.
Per the outlet, the image features the couple embracing in honor of their engagement (although it was never released to the public). The inclusion of the image might come as a bit of a surprise to some, considering it has been reported that there’s slight tension between the Duke of Sussex and his royal fam. However, nothing has been confirmed.
