Princess Beatrice’s Engagement Dress Isn’t Sold Out…Yet

There’s another royal wedding on the horizon!

Today, Buckingham Palace announced via Queen Elizabeth’s @theroyalfamily Instagram account that her granddaughter Princess Beatrice is officially engaged to real estate mogul Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The palace released a series of engagement photographs of the happy couple captured by Princess Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, in Italy. In the series of portraits, the 31-year-old bride-to-be is wearing a gorgeous floral Zimmermann dress that’s not yet sold out.

Zimmermann is a favorite of Princess Beatrice, so it seems fitting she selected the Allia floral-print linen maxi dress for her special occasion. The flowy frock features puffed balloon sleeves (a royal favorite), a fitted bodice and a fresh floral print. Beatrice’s emerald ensemble will run you a cool $695, but at least it’s a great transitional piece that works just as well for an engagement as it does as a wedding guest dress.

The princess accessorized her engagement portrait dress with her brand-new 3.5 carat ring, which her 34-year-old fiancé designed himself, and her go-to Cartier Juste un clou gold bracelet ($3,050).

According to Buckingham Palace’s post, the couple became engaged in Italy earlier this month after dating less than a year. They plan to hold their wedding in 2020, location TBD.

Princess Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi released a joint statement saying, “We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married. We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”

Another royal wedding? We can hardly contain ourselves!
