As we mentioned above, Will and Kate aren’t the only royals who sent well-wishes from across the pond. Queen Elizabeth wrote on social media, "Wishing the Duke of Sussex a happy birthday today!" Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, posted a similar message shortly after.
No word on how the duke will ring in his big day. However, since it is his first birthday as a father-of-two, we imagine the celebrations will include spending quality time with his wife, Meghan Markle, and the couple’s two kids, Archie and baby Lili. (We’re thinking cake enjoyed in the comfort of their Montecito home.)
Earlier this week, Harry made a surprise appearance alongside First Lady Dr. Jill Biden. The duo participated in a virtual event to recognize athletes who were slated to participate in this year's Warrior Games, an annual event that "celebrates the resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members.” Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the event had to be postponed.
Happy birthday, Harry! We have a feeling 37 is going to be the best one yet.
