This past holiday season, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made sure families in need had a happy holiday courtesy of some very thoughtful gifts.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex personally gifted reunified and refugee families with presents for the holidays. Along with a special note posted on December 19 on the official Archewell Foundation website, they shared a photo that shows wrapped gifts and bags filled with presents.
The note read: “The Archewell team including The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions gathered to celebrate the holidays and participate in This Is About Humanity's annual Holiday Party for Reunified Families represented by Immigrant Defenders Law Center.”
It continued, “Led by The Archewell Foundation, the company organized holiday gifting for over 30 reunified and refugee families. This Is About Humanity creates a community of allies and advocates dedicated to raising awareness about separated and reunified families and children at the U.S.-Mexican border.”
In mid-December, Markle and Harry chose to spread more holiday cheer by releasing their 2022 Christmas card. The couple shared their annual holiday card through the mailing list for the Archewell Foundation. Alongside a photo of the couple attending the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award Gala earlier that month, the royals pinned a special message for everyone to see.
The message read: “From our family to yours, and on behalf of our teams at The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio, and Archwell Productions, we wish you health, peace, and a very happy new years!’” And the pair chose to add a personal touch to the letter and sign with each of their signatures.
What a touching gesture from the duke and duchess.
