Baby Archie Steals the Show in Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Christmas Card

We finally have a first look at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Christmas card, and it’s even cuter than expected.

Earlier today, The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust—a royal charity—debuted the couple’s holiday card on Instagram, which features a never-before-seen photo of baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The tweet read, “Just sharing the sweetest Christmas Card from our President and Vice-President, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Very Merry Christmas, everyone!”

The black-and-white pic features Prince Harry and Markle sitting in front of what appears to be their Christmas tree. The real star of the photo is baby Archie, who is staring directly into the camera.

The card says, “Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from our family to yours.”

According to royal reporter Omid Scobie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent out an e-card in an attempt to reduce environmental waste. “Merry Christmas from Sussexes!” he wrote on Twitter. “Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan opted for an environmentally friendly e-card this year, sharing a new family portrait with friends, family, colleagues and charities (including all their patronages). The news might shock some royal aficionados, since Prince Harry and Markle are skipping Queen Elizabeth’s annual holiday festivities at Sandringham this year. Because of this, many believed the couple would forgo sending out a Christmas card.

Still, this pic of baby Archie was totally worth the wait.
