Prince Charles Shares Rare Personal Message on Instagram (Including His Very Own Signature)

It's not often that we get a personal message from a royal, but recently, Prince Charles has been using his Instagram to issue statements (letterhead and all).

In the prince's latest post, he shared a letter from he and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles. The note was posted to the couple's Clarence House Instagram account, with a caption that said, “A message of congratulations from The Prince of Wales to all those celebrating the #LunarNewYear.”

The royal kicked off his letter by saying, “My wife and I would like to wish a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to all those in China–and everyone celebrating the new Lunar Year across the world.”

He continued, “As we enter the Year of the Tiger, known for courageous action and rising to challenge and adventure, I hope the whole world will make this a year of action. Together let's create a better future for all our children by shifting the way we live and work to be in harmony with Nature and the planet.”

To close, the prince said, “The blessing of the tiger brings happiness to all families in the Year of the Tiger. Wishing you peace and happiness.”

He followed this message with a rare copy of his signature, which merely read: “Charles.”

It is important to note that Prince Charles also included a Chinese translation of his message, which was shared at the end of his caption.

As of late, the royal has been sending out messages across the world. Just a week ago, he penned a note of condolence to The King of Tonga, following the eruption of the Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha‘apai volcano.

We are loving these personal touches, Prince Charles.
