Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have major spring break plans.
Today, Clarence House announced that the 72-year-old Prince of Wales and his 73-year-old wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, are set to embark on a whirlwind royal tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Cypress and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from March 17 to March 25.
The couple, who’ve been upping the royal tour ante in the last several years, will be dividing and conquering during the trip. Prince Charles will kick things off with a solo trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he’ll shed light on the post-conflict resolutions in the Western Balkans. While there, he’ll visit Sarajevo and Srebrenica in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Bosnian genocide. He’ll pay his respects to the victims of the tragic chapter in history and meet with their families.
From there, Prince Charles will continue on to Cyprus with Camilla, where they’ll celebrate the friendship between the United Kingdom and the Mediterranean country. This will be their first time in Cyprus, so they’ll tour the capital, Nicosia, as well as sight-see in pastoral areas like the Troodos mountains and the Larnaca district.
