It totally changed my mind about lip liners, and I've continued to wear it pretty frequently. I don’t just use it for the perimeter of my lips; I use it in place of lipstick. First, I follow my lip line all the way around, then fill everything in with a light-ish layer of the same pencil. Then, I smear some Vaseline on top of the whole situation before going back in with the pencil to even it all out.
Recently, even though I love NYX's version, my wallet and I were called to try another cult-favorite lip pencil: The Lip Pencil from MAC Cosmetics.
Here's the great news: The two products, despite their $14 difference, are virtually indistinguishable from one another. Seriously, we're talking the same smooth application, long wear and high pigmentation from both pencils.
Now, this is not to knock MAC at all, and many of their other products are well worth the money. What I'm trying to say is that you don't have to shell out $18 for a fabulous lip pencil; all you need is $4.
Just think of all the ways you can spend that extra $14...
