According to Reality Steve, the Next Bachelorette Is…

Matt James’s season of The Bachelor isn’t even over yet, and ABC is already making moves for season 17 of The Bachelorette.

Over the weekend, famed Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve shared major spoilers on his blog, claiming the network has already chosen the next Bachelorette: Katie Thurston.

Katie Thurston (who’s from Renton, Washington) joined James’s season of The Bachelor on night one, and although she has been involved in some minor drama, she’s since won over America by standing up to the bullies on the show.

It’s important to note that Katie hasn’t been eliminated from The Bachelor (at least not yet). According to Reality Steve, tonight’s episode will seal Katie’s fate as the future Bachelorette. While she gets a one-on-one date, she reportedly doesn’t receive a rose and, therefore, gets sent home on the spot.

Season 17 of The Bachelorette was supposed to film at Jasper Lodge in Alberta, Canada. However, the venue is expected to change due to the coronavirus pandemic. ABC is currently looking at alternative U.S. locations, which means traveling on The Bachelorette will likely be kept to a minimum.

Host Chris Harrison is expected to announce the next Bachelorette during the After the Final Rose special, so adjust your Bachelor brackets accordingly.
