Mindy Kaling just shared an extremely rare photo of her 2-year-old daughter, Katherine, who is growing up right before our eyes.
Earlier today, the Legally Blonde 3 mastermind, 41, shared a never-before-seen-photo on her personal Instagram account, documenting Katherine’s visit to the pumpkin patch.
In the pic, Katherine is facing away from the camera as she admires the sea of pumpkins. She’s wearing an all-black ensemble, along with two mini hair buns.
The photo’s angle shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to fans, since Kaling rarely shares photos of her two children—Katherine and Spencer (2 months)—on social media. If she does post something, it’s usually of the back of Katherine’s head, like this priceless snap.
Kaling recently sat down for an exclusive interview with PureWow, where she got candid about parenting her two children during the coronavirus pandemic.
“At the beginning it was a little maddening because—before I had my son seven weeks ago—my daughter was supposed to start preschool,” she told PureWow. “I have a pretty busy schedule with two different shows, and I’m not married. So, we both had this feeling—my daughter and I—where we were just instantly confronted with all this extra time together.”
She continued, “There have been challenges, but I’ve just gotten to know her personality so much better than I did before. [It’s] been really such a blessing. A nice silver lining. She’s such a funny kid, and she’s got to know me better.”
Guess Kaling can cross “obtain pumpkins” off her Halloween to-do list.
