Attention, royal aficionados: These brand-new photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, just made our week.
Earlier today, the 4-month-old embarked on his first official royal outing alongside his parents.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off day three of their royal tour of Africa by bringing little Archie to meet famed activist Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe, in Cape Town.
Markle stunned in a Dremah silk dress by Club Monaco, while Prince Harry opted for a classic black suit. Archie, on the other hand, stole the show in a white T-shirt, blue pinstripe overalls and matching booties.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex documented Archie’s big debut in a series of Instagram Stories on their official joint account. The couple shared a video (screenshot below) of the family arriving at Tutu’s Legacy Foundation and wrote, “Arch meets Archie!”
In the clip, Prince Harry is preparing the baby for his big meet-cute, saying, “You get to meet Arch!”
During the meeting with Tutu, Prince Harry talked about Archie’s personality and revealed that he “constantly wants to stand out,” according to People magazine.
Markle even added, “He’s an old soul!”
The family is currently on a ten-day royal tour of Africa. Although they left little Archie with the nanny during the beginning of their trip, we don’t blame Prince Harry and Markle for inviting the royal baby to meet the one and only “Arch.”
