Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Spent a Low-Key Valentine’s Day in Canada

Looks like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a pretty relaxing Valentine’s Day this year.

The couple was all smiles as they were spotted arriving in Canada on Friday, marking one of their first sightings together since they announced their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family.

For the outing, Harry looked comfy in a sweater and baseball cap, while Meghan opted for a blue button-down shirt, black cardigan and black jeans.

The casual couple was likely returning from the U.S., where they spent last week on business. During their trip, they visited Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, for a brainstorming session among professors, academics and, apparently, royals.

According to Today, the meeting was aimed at helping them sort out their new charitable organization and nail down ways they can be most impactful with their humanitarian work. They previously spent some time in South Beach, Miami, for a private JPMorgan event, according to Page Six.

As you might remember, the duo spent most of last year’s holiday apart. Markle (who was pregnant with baby Archie), stayed in the U.K. while Harry traveled to Norway to visit service members and learn how they deal with extreme weather.

And although baby Archie wasn’t flying with them this time, we’re sure the couple spent some quality time with him later that day.
