Every month, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry use their @SussexRoyal joint Instagram account for good and follow a selection of charities with a theme they’d like to highlight. For the month of November, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have opted to recognize members of the armed forces, as well as their families.
As you may remember, the 35-year-old Duke of Sussex is a military veteran who served in the Army for ten years, undertaking two tours of Afghanistan. Since reacclimating to (royal) civilian life, he’s become a big advocate for the support of servicemen and women, veterans and their families. So it seems only natural that he and his 38-year-old wife would select this cause.
The couple shared a nine-photo grid collage of some of the 23 foundations they’re highlighting this month. They captioned it, “All accounts we are following for the month of November recognise the commitment to country and community that these men and women represent.
Thank you for your service. Once served, always serving.”
