Meghan Markle’s Montunas Scarf Handbag Comes in Navy and It’s on Sale
Fact: If Meghan Markle wears it, we want it—at least that’s the case 99 percent of the time. So, when the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex stepped out for the WellChild Awards last month with Prince Harry on one arm and a darling box handbag with a silk scarf handle on the other, we were immediately intrigued.
Duchess Meghan selected the Montunas Guaria mini orchid-print silk handle box bag ($435) for the event (for which she also re-wore the Parosh dress she donned to announce their engagement in 2017.) Thanks to the lady-like shape, tortoiseshell body and tropical floral-print handle, we couldn’t help but notice it. Now, its navy-blue sister is on sale (and equally as cute).
That’s right, the navy Guaria mini box shoulder bag is down from $435 to $413. The sale version of Markle’s stylish bag is crafted from navy marbled acetate and includes a removable interior pouch and an adjustable multicolored floral silk scarf strap inspired by the Costa Rican rainforest.
Like Markle’s version of the Montunas bag, the Guaria is a fun take on a neutral and goes just as well with a shift dress and coat (à la Meghan’s ensemble above) as it does with ripped jeans and a button-down on date night. And since the London-based brand isn’t just cute, it’s also female-founded, there’s yet another reason we need to add this to our arsenal as soon as possible. Hey, we’ll call it an early holiday gift to ourselves.
What good taste we have.
