For the Duchess of Sussex's first of three events in a jam-packed royal outings week, Meghan Markle stepped out in a bump-hugging dress and matching blazer in all-over blush...and, just us, or is it finally starting to feel a lot like spring?
Blush for Spring? Groundbreaking...at Least When Meghan Markle Does It
Even with a polar vortex and -40-degree temps here in the States, Markle’s light pink monochromatic custom Brandon Maxwell ensemble to visit one of her new royal patronages, the National Theatre, feels like a breath of fresh air from all the wool coats and tights of the past couple months.
The duchess, who is about six months' pregnant (she reportedly confirmed she was due in late April or early May), paired the dress with her lace-up suede Aquazzura pumps ($695) and Carolina Herrera clutch that she previously toted at last year's Trooping the Colour for the queen's 92nd birthday.
While the outfit is actually a Markle go-to (the duchess is a big fan of pinks, grays, beiges and neutrals for her public appearances), the swingy dress hem and fancy new updo signal the dawn of a new season (and one in which we get a new royal baby!).
All-over blush for spring? OK, not super groundbreaking...but we're still going to wear it anyway.
