We can all agree Meghan Markle’s hair journey has taken her far since her messy bun days. And while the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex has adopted a sleeker, more polished coif, the weather had other plans for her today.
It all started when the new mom arrived at her first post-maternity-leave event at Smart Works to launch her fashion capsule collection. (ICYMI: Markle collaborated with pal Misha Nonoo, Jigsaw, Marks & Spencer and John Lewis to release a clothing collection to benefit her patronage, which helps unemployed women gain the skills and wardrobe they need to succeed in the work place.)
Markle looked stunning in a white Misha Nonoo Smart Set button-down shirt ($125) and black Jigsaw Smart Set Paris trousers ($148), both of which are part of her Smart Works collection. She accessorized the work-appropriate ensemble with a Ralph Lauren tan belt, Manolo Blahnik Camel Pointed Pumps and the late Princess Diana's butterfly earrings and bracelet and wore her hair in smooth waves for the event.
The wind, it seemed, did not feel like cooperating.
