When it comes to his four children, Matt Damon isn’t afraid to make his love permanent, even if it means enduring four individual tattoos.
The Last Duel star, 48, recently debuted his brand-new ink on his right arm, featuring the names of his four daughters—“Alexia,” “Isabella,” “Gia” and “Stella”—written in delicate cursive.
The ink is located directly next to Damon’s “Lucy” tattoo, which is in honor of his wife, Luciana Barroso.
The single-needle tats were designed by Los Angeles–based tattoo artist Winter Stone, who has worked on a number of Hollywood A-listers—like Lady Gaga, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Mandy Moore, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Emma Roberts and Miley Cyrus. (Yep, we weren’t kidding.)
While the actor is no stranger to going under the needle, Damon previously revealed that he has particular taste when it comes to tattoos. In fact, he took a subtle dig at Ben Affleck for getting an enormous phoenix on his back.
“I mean, it’s not one man’s job to tell another man what he can do to his back,” Damon said. “I support him in all of his artistic expression.” To each his own.
So subtle, yet so sweet.
