Lady Gaga Just Got a Massive Tattoo in Honor of ‘A Star Is Born’: See the Pic!

Lady Gaga is paying tribute to A Star Is Born with a thoughtful—yet permanent—accolade.

Today, the 32-year-old singer unveiled the massive tattoo she got on her back in honor of the popular movie, which is a remake of the 1937 and 1976 versions.

The new ink features a long-stemmed rose traveling along Gaga’s spine, with “La Vie en Rose” written in scattered script.

The single-needle ink was designed by celebrity tattoo artist Winter Stone and refers to the song that Ally (Gaga) sings in A Star Is Born when she meets Jackson (Bradley Cooper) for the first time.

She captioned the post, “Happy Valentine’s Day. A tattoo toast to ‘la vie en rose’ by the beautiful @winterstone my spinal cord is now a rose.”

We can’t say we’re surprised Gaga permanently etched herself with a tribute to the film. Not only did “Shallow” win the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, but it also won two Grammy Awards for “Shallow”—Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Oh, and did we mention that Gaga is also nominated for two Academy Awards—Best Original Song (“Shallow” and “Until We Meet Again”) and Best Actress?

Will Cooper follow Gaga’s lead and get a tattoo? *Crosses fingers*
