Mandy Moore Reveals Season 4 of ‘This Is Us’ Is Officially Shooting and We’re Relieved to See This Character Is Back

This Is…very exciting. Mandy Moore just revealed a little bit of This Is Us news that will make Pearson fans rejoice.

The 35-year-old actress shared that season four of the hit NBC drama is officially shooting, which means we’re that much closer to reuniting with our favorite TV family. Moore posted an Instagram photo of herself posing alongside her TV husband and IRL friend, Milo Ventimiglia, on-set in full costume.

In the pic (above) both Pearsons smize at the camera while Moore, who plays Rebecca in the series, holds a clapperboard from the show’s set. If we’re not mistaken, it appears the duo is standing in the Pearson family home.

“Mom and Dad are back shooting the very first scene of season 4. Can’t wait for you to see!” she captioned the photo. Um, same, Mandy.

In addition to her little slice of Jack and Rebecca heaven, Moore also shared a behind-the-scenes video of the This Is Us crew.

In the video, Moore pans the camera around the set (which seems to be set up in front of the Pearson home). She wrote, “It feels like the first day of school today. Love this crew. The best, best, best. Most have been here since season 1.”

Series creator Dan Fogelman revealed that Ventimiglia, who plays Jack, will be less present in season four because of his character’s death. So, starting filming for season four with the Pearson patriarch soothes our worries just a bit.

This Is Us season four premieres on NBC at 9 p.m. PT/ET on Tuesday, September 24.
