Lady Gaga Just Won the Met Gala Red Carpet In 4 Insane Outfits
Lady Gaga is one of the hosts of this year's Met Gala (alongside Serena Williams, Harry Styles and Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele). The theme? “Camp: Notes on Fashion.”
And if you thought she'd pull out all the stops on the red carpet, you would be absolutely right. The singer, actress and icon arrived in style wearing not one, but four different looks, all dreamed up by American designer, Brandon Maxwell.
First up? An enormous hot pink coat gown complete with a giant train, matching fascinator and, naturally, a bunch of tuxedoed men holding her up dress...and a few black umbrellas.
She shed her shocking pink frock to reveal a voluminous ballgown, accesso
Maxwell himself cut away that black dress to display yet another hot pink getup: a slinky, spaghetti strap number that Gaga accessorized with a clunky vintage cellphone.
Finally, the A Star is Born actress stripped down into a sparkling bra, panties and matching tights. Her final accoutrement? A hot pink and gold wheelbarrow, filled with bottles of Champagne and hot pink cowboy hats, encased in their own clear hatboxes. Now that's how you do a theme, people.
