Kristen Bell Met Anna from ‘Frozen’ at Disneyland and the Encounter Was...‘Weird’

What happens when the original voice of Anna from Frozen meets Disneyland's version of Anna? According to Kristen Bell, it’s quite an interesting experience.

The 39-year-old actress appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and opened up about what it’s like hanging out with the Frozen characters when she goes to the theme park with her children.

While seeing the IRL version of Anna could be a bit strange, Bell says the weirdest part is that the cast members stay in character.

“The one thing that’s weird is that when you talk to them, they can’t break,” said Bell. “So I go up and we’re taking a picture and I’m like, ‘Hi, how are you?’ and she’s like ‘Arendelle is beautiful today!’”

Ideally, it seems like the star just wants to have a normal conversation with her costumed counterpart. And while her kids love it, Bell finds the whole experience a bit odd. “All I want to do is go, ‘Blink twice if you need to be rescued!’ Because this is crazy. The kids love it but it is weird to the adults!”

If you didn’t know, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actress voices the character Anna in the original film (and the new sequel) alongside Idina Menzel, who voices Elsa.

Both Bell and Menzel received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a joint ceremony that took place on November 19.

While this experience sounded surreal for Bell, we can only imagine what was going through Disneyland Anna's head...
