Kerry Washington Just Shared Another Adorable Instagram Video Starring Her Dad

Kerry Washington’s dad is officially our new favorite person on Instagram. And while the Scandal star usually gives fans and followers footage featuring her father telling dad jokes, this time we recieved with a two-minute-long unboxing video.

On Sunday, the 44-year-old actress posted a clip of her dad opening up a gift that was sent to “superfans” of the hit TV show, Ted Lasso. Turns out, Washington’s father is one of those superfans. “Ted Lasso’s biggest fans,” she captioned the post. “BELIEVE this is the best gift ever. Thank you @tedlassoappletv.”

In the video, we see the father and daughter duo opening and showcasing the products in the gift box which featured a mug, a variety of teas, a Ted Lasso sports jersey and, of course, a box of biscuits featured on the show. “Oh you have to taste this,” he said as he bit into the biscuit. “Thank you guys. We love the show, I believe.”

Not surprisingly, the post got a ton of attention on Instagram, receiving over 388,000 likes and over 1,000 comments. Fellow celebrity and pal, Michele Norris, wrote, “This is sooooo sweet. That look when your pops tasted that biscuit Precious. Believe!!” while Tracee Ellis Ross added, “@kerrywashington the cutest.”

As we mentioned earlier, Washinton often graces our social media feeds with appearances from her father. In fact, ahead of New Year's Day, the Little Fires Everywhere star posted a video of herself and her father in sparkly New Year's accessories on Instagram. In the clip, she asks him to tell one last dad joke before the year ends—and of course, he doesn't disappoint.
