Kelly Ripa just poked fun at her husband, Mark Consuelos, who tried to spice up their marriage with a frisky love note.
It all started earlier this week when the Riverdale actor, 49, posted a heartfelt tribute for his wife, 50, on his Instagram Story. The candid pic features Ripa on the set of Live with Kelly and Ryan, along with a flirty caption: “Good morning sexy [heart emojis].” (Good morning to you, too.)
It didn’t take long for Ripa to re-share the Story on her personal Instagram account. But instead of thanking her husband for the surprise shout-out, the Live co-host pointed out his questionable photo choice.
She wrote, “He chose a wild eyes pic,” along with an eye emoji.
This isn’t the first time Ripa has low-key made fun of Consuelos on social media. Back in November 2020, the actress posted a slideshow of Halloween photos on Instagram and revealed that she purposely cropped the pic to avoid comments about her husband’s bulge.
The caption read, “A costumed how it started, how it’s going, and I cropped at the crotch you thirst buckets. All trick, no treat. #halloween 2020.” (Ripa is referring to the royals costume, not the Dia de Los Muertos get-up.)
