In the words of Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa: “Be warned, Lola Conseulos.”
On yesterday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, the parents opened up about how their daughter, Lola, recently moved back home to finish her last semester of college. The married couple has pretty much had the house all to themselves since their three children left home for school. But things have changed now that Lola has returned home.
The pair revealed that Lola tends to enter their bedroom without knocking, depriving them of privacy. According to E! News, Ripa told the viewers, “She comes in every night and goes, ‘Hey girls!’”
But, after having a quick chat, it looks like Lola won’t be barging into their room again anytime soon. “I said, ‘Lola, I don’t want you to take this the wrong way. I’m very excited that you are home. We missed you. You are the heart of this family. You’re so funny and you’re just fantastic. But, you gotta knock,’” Mark explained.
And the Riverdale star warned their daughter about what she might walk in on the next time she comes into their room unannounced. “Be warned, Lola Conseulos. ‘Cause this week’s freaky week, isn’t it?” he said. “Yeah, this is Jan. 30. We’re going to get freaky this week.”
Ripa really wanted to know why this week was chosen in particular and asked, “Why this week? Is this historically freaky week?” To which her husband said with a smile, “It is now.”
Later, the couple joked that Lola’s habit could expose her to (*clears throat*) something she may not want to see. “Because at this point, anything you walk in on is your problem,” Ripa jokingly replied, and Mark added, “Your fault! Don’t you think she’s been traumatized enough by walking in before?”
