Kelly Ripa Documents College Visit with Mark Consuelos on IG & Gives Us 8 Brand-New Family Pics

It's officially been one month since Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos became empty nesters. However, it looks like they’ve already made a trip to visit their youngest child at college. And luckily, Ripa documented the couple’s short getaway on social media.

Over the weekend, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host and the Riverdale star traveled to Michigan to see their son Joaquin. (If you didn’t know, the 18-year-old started his freshman year at the University of Michigan last month, where he is continuing his education and wrestling career.)

Ripa shared a handful of snaps from the family-filled weekend on her personal Instagram account. The first post features herself and her two boys attending a Michigan football game against Rutgers. In the pic, we see the trio smiling for the camera from the stands. “Go Blue!” she captioned the post.

On Monday, Ripa followed up with a slideshow including more images from the visit. The first image shows Joaquin and Consuelos posing arm-in-arm, while the next few show the married couple enjoying some time outdoors and sporting Michigan gear. Ripa even threw in another photo from the game and a selfie with her youngest. “Scenes from a marriage: college visit. With #mcm @instasuelos and the freshman @joaquinconsuelos Go Blue!” she wrote in the caption.
