Birthday wishes are in order for Kelly Ripa's mom, Esther.
The Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 49, wished her mom a happy birthday with an Instagram post featuring a super-cute message and throwback photo that proves Ripa absolutely got it from her mama. By which we mean, the two look so much alike.
In the caption, the star wrote, "Happy Birthday Mom! Even though you are no longer acknowledging your age, I’d like to acknowledge your wisdom. You are very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very wise. i love you and this photo of you with gram and pop pop."
Between the high cheekbones, megawatt smile and bronzed complexion, the two could totally be sisters. If only we could see Ripa in this throwback hairdo...
This isn’t the first time Ripa has shared candid throwbacks on Instagram. Back in May, the actress celebrated her 24th wedding anniversary with her husband, Mark Consuelos, by debuting dozens of rare photos on social media featuring their three children, Michael (22), Lola (18) and Joaquin (17). Ripa also posted a throwback photo of her parents and in-laws, writing, “Cannot wait to hug these four. (Mother in law. Mom. Dad. Father in law) Will hug in any order or first come first serve…circa 2005.”
