Kate Middleton Pairs Royal Rewear with a Patterned Face Mask for Latest Public Engagement

Kate Middleton just gave Katie Holmes a run for her money when it comes to making a face mask look chic.

Earlier this week, the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Sheffield-based Baby Basics—a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet their financial and practical needs—to help unpack donations and chat with parents about the support they’ve received from baby banks across the U.K.

For the occasion, the 38-year-old royal opted for her white, Suzannah button-down summer dress (which she wore last year to Wimbledon) paired with a micro-floral print cotton mask from the London childrenswear brand, Amaia—the multicolor “Pepper” pattern, to be exact. She topped off her look with a pair of hoop earrings and Tabitha Simmons stiletto pumps.

In a rare turn of events, Middleton’s mask is still available online for just $20. Not to mention, 30 percent of the proceeds are being donated to NHS Charities.

According to Kensington Palace, Middleton has brought together 19 British brands and retailers to donate over 10,000 new items to more than 40 baby banks across the U.K. to help families get ahold of necessary supplies.

“Over recent months, I have heard from families who have been supported by baby banks through the most difficult of times and I have been deeply moved by their stories," Kate, a mother of three, said of the initiative. "Having somewhere to turn to for support is important for all families, and baby banks work every day, up and down the country, to provide immediate, tangible and practical help for parents and carers when they are most in need.”

PPE, but make it fashion.
