Katie Holmes Looks Casual in White T-Shirt (& Mask) for Latest Outing in NYC

When it comes to summer fashion, Katie Holmes will always be queen. The 41-year-old actress has already shown us her impressive tie-dye skills this season, and now she’s proving she can make a mask and white T-shirt look as chic as ever. And did we mention she’s bringing back the midi skirt?

That’s right—on Sunday, Holmes stepped out in New York City sporting a midi-length denim skirt with a plain, white T-shirt. She topped off the look with a pair of Birkenstocks, black sunglasses and, of course, a floral face mask. And we’re getting major ’90s vibes.

This isn’ the first time we’ve seen the Dawson’s Creek alum looking casual in NYC (where she’s been self-isolating with 14-year-old Suri Cruise). In May, Holmes took to Instagram to show off her and her daughter’s latest art project: tie-dye clothing. Although the photo is cropped such that we can't quite tell who these two women are, we think it safe to assume it's Holmes and Cruise modeling their creations.

During a recent (rare) interview with Australia's The Daily Telegraph, the 41-year-old actress opened up about the last few months at home with Suri.

"This time of quarantine has been such a lesson," Holmes told the outlet. "Just really looking at everything you have and celebrating the simplicity of making dinner and [spending] that time together."

We bet there’s a lot of fashion tips being shared in that household.
