Kate and William Are Getting New Neighbors at Kensington Palace (and It's Probably This Very Familiar Royal Couple)

On today's episode of Keeping Up with the Cambridges...

After moving vans were spotted outside Kensington Palace, it's been confirmed by multiple outlets that the queen's cousin, Prince Richard, and his wife, Birgitte, moved out of Apartment 1, next door to Kate Middleton and Prince William's Apartment 1A, last week.

Now the big question is: Who will move in and be next-door neighbors to (and potential last-minute babysitters for) Will, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis?

According to The Mirror, the frontrunner contenders are none other than newlyweds Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank. The pair were married on October 12, 2018, and have been living on the Kensington Palace grounds in a small house called the Ivy Cottage.

However, if Eugenie and Brooksbank are looking to start a family, they may need a bigger space, which is why many royal fans are speculating that it's the queen's granddaughter who will take over the palace's spacious Apartment 1.

Originally, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were supposed to live next-door to Kate and William, but their plans changed when they decided to vacate their tiny cottage on the palace grounds and move to Frogmore Cottage on the more quiet and remote Windsor Castle estate.

Even before the Sussexes' decision, though, Apartment 1 was officially under renovation. The Mirror notes that scaffolding and white tarpaulin have been added to the roof of the unit.

Perhaps Eugenie is already planning where to put her photography studio and Beatrice's guest bedroom?
