Time to update your resumes, because Kate Middleton and Prince William are looking to add a new member to their staff.

We just learned that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently looking to hire a new permanent housekeeper to take care of their primary residence in London. According to the job posting, which is listed on the Royal Household website, the new hire will “support the management of all housekeeping operations and pro-actively deputize for the Senior Housekeeper, being accountable in their absence.”

The couple’s ideal candidate is a “self-starter who also enjoys working collaboratively” ready to “join a supportive and positive team.” They will be able to “manage a varied workload, show initiative, be content to work flexibly, including being able to travel,” which means there is potential for the housekeeper to help out at their other residences as well.

Perhaps the most interesting (and paramount) part of the job description is that it requires “maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion at all times.” In fact, the duke and duchess stress the importance of their privacy and even refer to this requirement as “paramount.”

Of course, it wouldn't be proper etiquette to chat salary right off the bat, so compensation is not mentioned on the listing. However, we’d imagine the role also comes with some royal perks (like baking with George, Charlotte and Louis, perhaps?).

And it seems like they are trying to fill the role fast because the application deadline is November 7. So, any U.K.-based candidates with a knack for tidying castles and rubbing elbows with royalty need to act fast.

Good luck!
