No amount of inclement weather can stop Kate Middleton from looking impeccably poised.

The 38-year-old Duchess of Cambridge paid the rain and excessive hail no mind as she arrived at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre alongside Prince William, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, today.

The rehab center, which aims to help members of the armed forces recover from injuries and trauma, seems to have influenced Middleton’s fashion choice. She selected a navy blue military-inspired Alexander McQueen coat and pleated midi skirt for the occasion.

The duchess paired her new McQueen look with a small leather top handle bag ($1,290) from the British fashion house, as well as a pair of black leather gloves. She also pulled a staple out of the royal-rewear section of her closet and sported a sold-out pair of suede heeled Ralph Lauren boots. Before you have a minor freak out about suede in the rain, it’s safe to assume she weather-proofed the boots because she previously wore them on a rainy day in March 2019 while in Blackpool, England. (Phew!) Middleton completed the look with a half-up-half-down hairdo that defied the laws of physics and remained beautifully coiffed despite the weather.

During today’s visit, the royal foursome (could this be the new fab four?!) met with patients and staff members of the facility and also made their way through a prosthetics workshop.

Prince William, who serves as Patron for the charity that raised the money to build the center, said, “I have seen the growth of an idea transfer into what we see today and it is a rare and immensely satisfying thing to have witnessed.”

Also immensely satisfying? Middleton’s expertly coordinated outfit. Bravo on all accounts.
