Believe it or not, cool mom Kate Middleton reportedly hit the town for a cocktail (or two) with her fellow school parents at a London pub recently.
According to the Daily Mail, the 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge attended a “meet and greet” hosted by Thomas’s Battersea to welcome parents of new students at the school. Although Prince George (6) has attended the esteemed educational institution since 2017, Princess Charlotte (4) only became a student in September of this year. Surely, Middleton wanted to meet the moms and dads of Charlotte’s peers.
The Daily Mail purports that the duchess arrived at the Hollywood Arms (a low-key establishment by all accounts) with only one royal protection officer. While there, K-Middy enjoyed a couple of drinks and hobnobbed with her fellow school parents. It was basically like any other school function, but with a royal.
So how did the Duchess of Cambridge attend without being spotted? Well, apparently she used a secret side VIP entrance that was initially created for Prince Harry back during his bachelor party days. The party was also held in a private room of the establishment called the Boulevard Bar, which holds about 80 people, so there weren’t a ton of onlookers.
