Kate Middleton recently stepped out for not one, but two official events. Although we previously applauded the Duchess of Cambridge, 38, for re-wearing her Beulah London dress, we couldn’t help but notice that she paired the recycled frock with fitting accessories.

It all started earlier this week when Middleton visited the London Bridge Jobcentre, followed by one of London’s most iconic bagel joints, Beigel Bake. During the outings, the duchess wore a red floral dress and accessorized the look with gold charm hoops by Missoma London.

The simple gold earrings perfectly complement Middleton’s attire, but it’s the pastel pink gemstone that initially caught our attention. The piece is made of rhodochrosite, which is a manganese carbonate mineral that holds a special meaning.

According to the brand’s official website, the “Rhodochrosite Pyramid Hoops feature a heart-based healing crystal that radiates love, compassion and all-around good vibes, suspended from a textured gold vermeil hoop.”

It makes sense that Middleton chose to wear the earrings in public, since her appearance was focused on giving back to communities who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The duchess’s jewelry choice could be a total coincidence, but since rhodochrosite is widely known as the “Stone of the compassionate heart,” we highly doubt that’s the case.
