Per Deadline, the film’s official synopsis reads, “Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) gather their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding, just as the couple begins to get cold feet. And if that wasn’t enough of a threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage. ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ takes on a whole new meaning in this hilarious, adrenaline-fueled adventure as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones—if they don’t kill each other first.” Not to mention, the film also stars Jennifer Coolidge and Sonia Braga as the moms of Duhamel and Lopez’s characters.
As for her real-life wedding, we’re not sure when we can expect the duo to officially say “I do.”
The “On the Floor” singer and the baseball star got engaged in March of 2019, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, they've had to postpone their Italy wedding. Lopez told Elle, “I'm a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans, but I’m also like, 'you know what? God has a bigger plan,' so we just have to wait and see. Maybe it’s going to be better. I have to believe that it will be.”
Hey, at least one of Lopez’s weddings is underway (even if it is just for a movie).
