During Jennifer Lopez’s 50th birthday celebrations, we were so focused on the red convertible Porsche that she received from fiancé Alex Rodriguez that we almost forgot the singer doesn’t even know how to drive.
It all started yesterday when J.Lo posted a lengthy video on her personal YouTube channel, titled “Day in my life: MY BIRTHDAY!!!”
The clip features a behind-the-scenes look at Lopez’s big day, including the moment she admits that she’s “never driven a car,” despite receiving a $140,000 Porsche from A-Rod.
“What the hell? What is that?” she says. “I’ve never had a car like this. I’ve never driven a car before.”
Wait, what? She hasn’t driven a car?! While we don’t blame Lopez, a native New Yorker, for never getting behind the wheel, we do question the purpose of Rodriguez’s gift, since it will get little to no use…or so we thought.
In the video, J.Lo proceeds to hop in the driver’s seat before pulling out of the driveway, proving that nothing (not even the law) will stop her from driving her brand-new ride.
Although the Porsche would look fantastic sitting in front of the couple’s home, we’ll be crossing our fingers that Lopez has a driver’s ed course in her near future.
