Jennifer Lopez Gushes Over Her Relationship With Ben Affleck: 'I've Never Been Better'

Bennifer has been the talk of the town since the two went public with their relationship in early 2021. Now, Jennifer Lopez is finally opening up about her rekindled romance with her former and current boyfriend, Ben Affleck.

In an exclusive interview with People, the Marry Me star revealed that she’s “never been better” since getting back together with the Hollywood actor. “It's just that we're all in a very beautiful moment,” she said. “I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him. It's a beautiful love story that we got a second chance.”

The couple first met in 2002 on the set of their movie, Gigli. They were engaged that same year and then called it quits a few days before the ceremony.

Now, Lopez acknowledges that they were “naive” with how they handled their relationship in the public eye. And, this time around, they’re both staying more conscious about how they share their relationship. 

“I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that's happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does,” she said, adding that their bond is “sacred.”

Still, the Hustlers alum can’t get over how much they’ve grown over the years, especially Affleck.

“I'm so proud of the man he's become that I've watched from afar,” she continued. “I feel like he's at a place in his life where — just like how I feel about myself — it's been a journey of learning yourself and figuring yourself out, getting to a place where you feel really good on your own and who you are so you can be in a happy, healthy relationship.”
