Jennifer Aniston Shares Rare Throwback Pic for Lisa Kudrow’s 57th Birthday & Teases Her Bizarre Nickname

It’s been 16 (!) years since Friends aired its final episode, and it appears nothing has changed between Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green) and Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay).

Yesterday, Aniston celebrated Kudrow’s 57th birthday by sharing a rare throwback photo on social media. The Morning Show star, 51, posted a black-and-white picture on her Instagram Story, featuring herself and Kudrow making silly faces. In the caption, Aniston revealed the, er, interesting nickname she has for her former Friends co-star: “Floosh.”

“Happy birthday my sweetest Floosh,” she wrote. We have no idea what “Floosh” means, but it sounds like something Phoebe would name her child. Regardless, we can only hope Kudrow has an equally embarrassing nickname for Aniston.

Aniston followed up with another photo of the duo—but this time, it shows them hugging at an awards show. Courteney Cox (Monica Geller) can be seen smiling in the background.

Aniston captioned the post, “I LOVE YOU,” along with lovey-dovey emojis.

Friends originally premiered in 1994 and ran for ten successful seasons before airing its final episode in 2004. In addition to the female trio, the series also starred David Schwimmer (Ross Geller), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) and Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing).

The cast remained friends (get it?) after the show concluded, particularly Kudrow, Aniston and Cox. Not only do they regularly hang out, but they also team up for good causes—like when they reunited in honor of the “I am a voter” movement. (See Kudrow’s Instagram post here.)

Wishing Kudrow a year filled with love, happiness and “Smelly Cat” references.
