Hilary Duff recently shared a photo of her daughter on Instagram and forget #twins, we're 100% seeing #clones.
The actress, 32, posted a snap of her one-year-old, Banks Violet Bair, cuddling with her dad and, guys, she legit looks like the mini version of Lizzie McGuire.
Banks Violet is seen spending some quality time with her father while sporting a golden name necklace. Duff simply captioned the photo, "#girldad." And, naturally, countless fans pointed out the striking resemblance between the toddler and her mom in the comments. One fan said, "She looks just like you!!!" Another wrote, "She could play baby Lizzie," referring to the series revival.
The mother of two confirmed in July that a Lizzie McGuire reboot is currently in the works, thanks to Disney+. Duff explained that the show would focus on a more mature Lizzie, who is now in her 30s and thriving at her dream job as an apprentice to a New York City decorator.
During her chat with Entertainment Tonight, she explained, “It feels very surreal, to be honest. I’ve been living with this information for a few months now, so it’s been very hard to even contain my excitement. She’s such a big part of me and my life, and now she’s 30, and I feel like I’m going to have to learn some of her quirky faces again. But I’m excited!”
The reboot will also see the return of several beloved characters, including Lizzie's brother, Matt McGuire, and her childhood BFF/love-interest, Gordo. Although the show was originally expected to air sometime this year, everything has been put on hold due to the COVID pandemic—and creative differences regarding the direction of the reboot.
Until then, we're keeping our fingers crossed for more Banks Violet appearances.
