Hannah Brown Pulled a Total Taylor Swift on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Hannah Brown is taking a page out of Taylor Swift’s playbook and upping her Easter egg game on Dancing with the Stars.

The 25-year-old former Bachelorette earned the praise of judges and fans alike on this week’s episode of the dance competition show when she performed a beautiful Viennese waltz alongside partner Alan Bersten with all sorts of homages. It’s was very T-Swift mixed with Bachelor Nation…and not just because Chris Harrison, Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph were in the audience.

Brown’s dance number, set to a cover of Swift’s hit song “Lover,” started with an American Beauty meets The Bachelorette moment where Brown laid on a bed covered in pastel colored rose petals while even more fell from the sky.

Once she stood and began her waltz with Bersten the camera panned to show a scene that looked like a mixture of Brown’s Bachelorette promo (remember those Cinderella themed commercials?) and Swift’s cover art and music videos for her new album.

Brown’s attention to detail was so spot-on that her outfit for the performance even resembled the Raisa & Vanessa lavender minidress Swift wore to the 2019 Billboard Awards. We see what you did there, Brown.

The former Bachelorette’s dedication to showmanship really paid off. Judge Len Goodman proclaimed her and Bersten’s performance the “best dance of the night.” Carrie Ann Inaba couldn’t stop complimenting her extensions (the dance kind, not the hair kind). Ultimately, Brown and Bersten earned eights across the board, coming out to a total of 24 out of 30.

Looks like Alabama Hannah’s pageant days have served her well.
