Hannah Brown Says Several of Her ‘Bachelorette’ Men Had to Be Taught How to Kiss

During season 15 of The Bachelorette, we’re starting to notice that Hannah Brown is low-key channeling Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s alter ego—“the Kissing Bandit”—and making out with just about everyone. Well, according to the 24-year-old star, her off-screen experience isn’t as romantic as it seems, especially when she’s dealing with amateur kissers.

Brown appeared on a recent episode of the new talk show RuPaul and discussed what it’s really like to date 30 guys at once. While chatting about her intimacy with the men, the former beauty queen admitted that not all the contestants were good kissers when they first arrived at the mansion.

It all starts around the 2:30 mark when Brown reveals that she didn’t date—let alone kiss—many guys prior to appearing on The Bachelorette. “Before I went on the show, I had kissed, like, five, six guys—six including Colton,” she says. “By episode two, I’ve kissed ten.”

When RuPaul asks if the producers train the contestants on kissing on-camera, Brown admits that she was the one doing the coaching. “No, I had to coach some guys on kissing,” she explains. “I need to enjoy it.”

To no surprise, the ABC star wasn’t shy about it. “I can take control,” she adds. “So, I’d be like, ‘Hey. Like, you know, but let’s work on your tongue.’ The lizard tongue? Not a fan. The twirl? Can’t do it.”

We wouldn’t be surprised if the network adds “Kissing Exam” to the next round of applications. The Bachelorette returns on Monday, June 24, at 8 p.m.
