Gabrielle Union had an outfit change after the 2021 Met Gala, and it didn’t disappoint.
Following the event, the Bring it On alum, 48, attended a star-studded after-party. However, she didn’t wear the gorgeous custom dress she donned on the red carpet. Instead, she wore a purple two-piece ensemble that’s hard to miss.
Union shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram featuring herself standing in a hallway that looks straight out of an Instagram ad, complete with tiled floors and mirrored walls. The actress is wearing the same purple outfit she wore to the Met Gala after-party, consisting of fitted pants and a long sleeve top. The blouse has a cut-out on the stomach, offering a sneak peek of Union’s toned abs.
In the caption, Union joked about re-wearing the outfit to promote her new book, You Got Anything Stronger? “How I’m rolling into bookstores in disguise to see my book on shelves today,” she wrote. “Also doubles as my after party look from last night. Keep the party going! #YouGotAnythingStronger #MetGala2021 @connerives THANK YOU!”
Union followed-up with another slideshow—but this time, if offers a realistic glimpse into the behind-the-scenes chaos of her photoshoots for social media. In the first video, Regina King and Queen Latifah are standing in the middle of the street and taking photos of Union, who’s strutting her stuff on a crosswalk.
She wrote, “Getchu some friends that stop traffic and hype you up during your late-night pizza run impromptu photo shoots! [laughing emojis] @iamreginaking @queenlatifah love my girls!!!”
