John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s son, Miles, is days away from achieving a major milestone.
Yesterday, the 33-year-old model documented the moment her 1-year-old son almost took his first step during their European vacation.

Teigen shared a photo of little Miles on his hands and knees and wrote, “I think someone’s gonna take his first steps in Italy! Oh dear.”
The family is currently on an Italian getaway. While we don’t know if he’ll take his first steps abroad, we can’t deny that it would make for a fantastic story.
The cookbook author and her husband, John Legend, welcomed baby Miles back in May 2018. They’re also parents to a 3-year-old daughter, Luna. Both Miles and Luna are actually named after musical icons: Miles for Miles Davis, the acclaimed jazz trumpeter and composer, and Luna Simone after Nina Simone, the famed jazz, blues and folk singer/musician.
Although Luna and Miles look alike, Teigen previously revealed that their personalities couldn’t be more different.
“He loves the quiet moments,” she said. “He loves story time, but Luna was just such a bull. From the moment she came out, you just knew she was going to be such a Luna—just a nutcase. He’s not really into anything. He loves sleeping and milk.”
