Will There Be More Thor Post-Avengers? Chris Hemsworth Certainly Hopes So…

Another Avengers movie, another press tour. And what’s a press tour without making a stop at The Ellen DeGeneres Show?

At least, that’s what Chris Hemsworth did Tuesday while promoting Avengers: Endgame in Los Angeles. During his short visit, the 35-year-old actor dished on the highly anticipated film, as well as the possibility of returning to the Marvel universe as Thor.

In the interview, he made one thing very clear: Don’t go asking him for spoilers because apparently he knows very little about how the movie actually ends. Yep, between filming the movie at the same time as Infinity War and the fact that he and the cast have yet to see a final cut, Hemsworth isn’t even sure if he survives this one. (Not that it would matter—Marvel brings people back to life all the time).

We can imagine he’s not the only one in the cast who knows practically nothing about the film. We mean, Tom Holland wasn’t even allowed to get the script.

As for what’s to come for the future of his character, Hemsworth says he is completely open to continuing the role.

“This is sort of Marvel’s Phase 3 wrapping up, the culmination of this journey,” he said. “Whether or not they go off and then shoot other things—prequels or sequels or whatever they can do…so who knows what’s in store for anyone. Me personally, it’s the best fun I’ve ever had, and I’d be happy to do more if they wanted me.”

And we can confidently say we want more of Hemsworth’s Thor as well.
