Camilla Parker Bowles Just Gave Us a Peek at Another (!) Room in Her Birkhall Home—& Look at that Fireplace

Camilla Parker Bowles is making sure to get use out of every room in her Birkhall estate while working from home. The Duchess of Cornwall just gave us another rare glimpse into part of her Scottish residence. And yes, we’re keeping track.

Earlier this week, the Duchess of Cornwall was named vice-patron of the Royal Academy of Dance, of which Queen Elizabeth is patron. In honor of her new role, which she revealed was ‘“no hardship for me” when asked, the 72-year-old took part in a video chat with academy president Dame Darcey Bussell and broadcaster Angela Rippon.

During the call, the trio discussed the Silver Swans ballet class and the importance of dance for the mental health and well-being of people of all ages. The video was shot from Camilla’s country home in Scotland, where she and Prince Charles are currently self-isolating. And while we’ve gotten a look at the duchess’s home office and a living room in the last few weeks, this room seems to be new territory.

In the five minute clip, we see Camilla seated in front of a white-molded fireplace with a large circular mirror in a gold frame above it. On the mantelpiece, there is a selection of ornate plates and mugs, decorated with flowers and blue and gold edges, and two tall table lamps with mini shades. Perhaps this is another living or family room? I mean, how many are there?!

Now, is it too much to ask to see the kitchen?
