We Almost Missed ‘Bachelor’ Producer Julie LaPlaca in Last Night’s Teaser for the Finale

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Last night on The Bachelor, ABC brought us part one of the two-part season 24 finale, which featured Peter Weber introducing the remaining women to his family, Madison leaving (again) and Peter’s mom clearly picking a favorite.

And while the two-hour special was filled with drama and tears, it was the teaser for tonight's episode that really caught our attention. For one thing, we see that Madison once again returns and Barbara dramatically cries (no surprise there). But perhaps the most shocking moment? Producer Julie LaPlaca makes an appearance. Yes, that producer that everyone has been theorizing about.

In one of the promo snippets, which aired at the end of last night’s episode and has yet to be released online, we see Weber and LaPlaca sitting on a couch together. Unfortunately, Chris Harrison’s voiceover is playing over the clip, so we don’t have any idea what the two are actually talking about.

If you didn’t know, a popular Reddit theory purports that the 28-year-old pilot doesn’t end up with one of his many female suitors. Instead, it argues that Weber ultimately professes his love for the Bachelor producer.

Each Bachelor/Bachelorette and contestant is assigned a personal producer upon arriving on set who supports the contestant or Bachelor/Bachelorette and also makes sure they’re creating opportunities for really good TV. Well, rumors started swirling when photos of LaPlaca and the Weber family celebrating a New Year’s Eve lunch surfaced and again when LaPlaca shared a photo of herself in Times Square on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve where Weber is seen in the background.

If that wasn’t suspicious enough, this new clip, of course, added even more fuel to the fire. Still, Bachelor promos are notorious for creative editing, so don't put too much actual stock in this appearance, however interesting it may be.

Part two of the finale airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
